Bluesky has 44 Million users as of May 2026
Bluesky’s users have increased since the platform ended its one-year invite-only beta in February 2024.
In February 2024, Bluesky crossed 5 million users. As of May 2026, the app has 44 million users. 25 million users came in 2025 alone.
Bluesky now has 13M+ users, the @atproto.com developer ecosystem continues to grow, and we’ve shipped features like DMs and video!
