How to Add Music to Your Instagram Stories
You can simply add music to your Instagram stories using these simple steps:
Step 1: Start or Capture a Story
Swipe right from your home feed (or tap the “+” icon and select “Story”)
Choose a photo, video, or even create a new one by taking it directly
Step 2: Tap the Sticker Icon or the music icon
Once you have your Story content ready, tap on the Sticker icon at the top (it looks like a square smiley face)
- Or you can just click the music icon and select a music
Step 3: Select the Music Sticker
If you chose the sticker menu, find and tap on Music
If you don’t see it immediately, you can use the search bar to search for “Music”
Step 4: Choose Your Song
A list of songs will show and you can either search popular selections or search for a specific music you want
Step 5: Customize the Music Clip
Instagram allows you to choose which part of the song you want to play
Drag the slider to pick your favorite section
You can also change the style of how the song or the song lyrics appear on the phone
How to Add Music to your Instagram Post
Here are easy steps;
Step 1: Create a New Post
Tap the “+” icon on the home screen
Select “Post” and choose the photo(s) you want to upload
Step 3: Tap “Add Music”
On the screen where you write your caption, you’ll now see an option for adding music, click it
Step 4: Find Your Song
Browse trending tracks or use the search bar to find a song of your choice
Step 5: Choose the Clip Length
Pick the part of the song that matches your photo
Step 6: Finish Your Post
Finalize your caption, tag people, add your location if you want
Then hit “Share“
