Hey Sam,

Yannick here.

In this newsletter, you’ll find:

  • You can’t make this sh*t up
  • News creators should know
  • What should we focus on?

🚀 YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SH*T UP

You’ve probably seen screenshots from LinkedIn and Twitter posts being bombarded by ChatGPT replies.

In one word, they are a: PIECE-OF-SHIT

You could be blind and still see a machine created them.

If you use them:

  • You will be blocked
  • You will be laughed at
  • You’ll eventually get flagged as a spammer

Which brings me to my point: ChatGPT can’t make sh*t up. It learns what’s been written and pukes out old garbage.

So if you think a machine can outperform human behavior and creativity, please unsubscribe from this email list rn.

The best content is content that makes you think:

“You can’t make this stuff up.”

And that’s exactly what humans excel at. Taking random stuff and making something interesting out of it.

This email is always about inspiring you to become a better creator. So today I want to bring your attention to just one single tweet.

To a tweet that’s good, yes. But to its comments which are golden.

Read them, laugh about them, feel human again and never turn to the dark side for your BS-commenting-automation-and-content-creation-system.

Here’s the tweet you should check out.

📣 CREATOR NEWS

𝕏 is on the war path against bots

On April 5, 𝕏 announced “a significant, proactive initiative to eliminate accounts that violate our Rules against platform manipulation and spam.”

Bots have been a recurring complaint among users of the platform. And the issue seems to have increased in the last few months.

It’s impossible to know the level of spam on the platform and the impact of this latest countermeasure. That said, SocialMediaToday reports that Elon Musk “lost” over 40k followers after the announcement.

Threads is preparing the launch of its API

On April 8, Threads released the documentation for its API. The announcement confirms Meta’s intention to “make the API broadly available by the end of June.”

This will allow third-party apps to offer solutions as post-scheduling and other forms of automation.

As mentioned in previous newsletters, when the API will be released, Hypefury will support Threads.

Threads is preparing the launch of its API

  • Posts with multiple images and short captions have the highest engagement rate.
  • Multi-image posts generate the highest amount of likes and comments.
  • Videos are the most shared content type.
  • Polls generate the highest impression rate.
